Topic: Construction Safety

We will be speaking on safety at construction sites with specific discussions on recent changes with OSHA’s regulations and specifically on the new confined space rule and crystalline silica rules and how they will impact the construction industry.  The discussion will include understanding where the costs and benefits of implementing the rules may be distributed.  For example, the silica rule provides a long term cost benefit to society.  The cost to implement will be on the construction
industry, but the savings may not be.
