Topic: Moving from Risk Management to Risk Elimination

The focus is on using the elements of Prevention through Design during construction and to the benefit of clients long after the building is occupied. Those attending will be able to implement strategies and specific practices the following day that will save lives.  Also provided will be a tool listing additional tips (collected over a decade) that members can use within their organization, immediately.  Most of the interventions can be deployed at little or no cost. Workers will appreciate and clients will thank you.

Speaker: Mr. Lyons, CSP

Mr. Lyons CSP is a safety professional living in Warwick, New York supporting construction teams on military sites across the US and overseas.. With a strong background in construction safety and industrial hygiene,he focuses on reducing or eliminating risk through proper planning, implementation of best practices and lessons learned at the project level.
